Brandon Christy, CPA, PFS


Brandon Christy, President of Christy Capital Management, Inc., holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Macon State College, and has continued his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). This is a designation held only by CPAs who have completed additional financial planning benchmarks.

Brandon is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Brandon serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors at Covenant Academy and he is also a deacon and Sunday school teacher at his church. 

Brandon and his wife, Cara, have four children.


Mark Wilson

Exec. VP of Business Development, Financial Planner

Mark joined Christy Capital Management as the Chief Operations Officer and transitioned into the role of Financial Planner. Mark holds an Associate degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to financial planning, Mark had a successful 20-plus year career as an engineer, which included 19 years with the federal government. He served as a Project Manager, Maintenance Operations Officer, Flight Director and managed employees in both the Civil Service and Federal Employees Retirement Systems (CSRS and FERS).         

Mark is an active member of his church and currently serves as a trustee and in the First Impressions Ministry. Mark has previously served as a Sunday School teacher and on the Stewardship Committee, including the position of chairman. He has coordinated the Financial Peace University course on several occasions in addition to other small group stewardship courses. 

Mark and his wife, Kristie, have been married over 25 years and have two teenage children, Averie and Adam. Mark enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, classic cars, hunting and fishing. 


Tommy NeeSmith

Exec. VP of Operations, Financial Planner

Tommy NeeSmith holds a Bachelors of Science in Management and Information Technology from Macon State College.  Tommy successfully worked for ten plus years with a Fortune 500 company as a System Engineering and Information Assurance Manager working with the Federal Government at Robins Air Force Base, GA.

Tommy is actively involved in his local church serving as a Trustee and Deacon .

Tommy and his wife have two children. Tommy enjoys coaching, camping with his family and friends, fishing, golf, Auburn University athletics, Atlanta Braves baseball and Atlanta Falcons football.


Alex Westberry

Chief Financial Officer / Chief Compliance Officer

Alex earned his B.B.A. in Management from Valdosta University, and his Master of Business Administration in E-Commer from Georgia State University. He has continued his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).


Prior to joining Christy Capital in 2016, Alex worked in Healthcare Administration and Public Accounting. Alex is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


Alex and his wife of twenty-one years, Anna, along with their two children, reside in Milledgeville. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing and kayaking.



Joe Mathews

Financial Planner

Joe Mathews started his career in the financial field in 2000 by joining forces with One America Financial Partners servicing local business owners with all of their financial needs.  He has assisted in providing solutions in the way of retirement planning and exit strategies of business owners using cross purchase planning. He has vast experience in working with individuals on income replacement, retirement planning, and estate planning.  He joined Christy Capital Management in 2011, bringing eleven years of experience in the financial planning field helping individuals  meet their financial goals and assisting them in problem solving strategies. His goal is to serve those who need our problem solving techniques while guiding them in a comfortable safe environment as they approach retirement. Joe also serves as the Chairman of the Deacons at his church and is very involved in outreach ministries.

Joe and his wife have two sons and a grandson. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.  


Glenn Ramey

Financial Planner

Glenn attended Macon State College where he studied Business Management. He had a successful 28 year career with a large Fortune 500 Company. He spent 25 years in various Management positions, including Sales, Operations, Area Management, Financial, and Special Project Management.

Glenn is a longtime member of his church where he serves on the Board of Stewards. He is also a substitute teacher for the Middler Boys and Girls Sunday School Class and a member of the Ushers committee.

Glenn and his wife have been married for over 35 years and have two children. He enjoys golf, fishing, UGA football and spending time with family and friends.  


Mel Stubbs

Financial Planner

Mel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina.  Before joining Christy Capital Management, he owned his own real estate investment business for ten years.  He has also enjoyed success as a licensed real estate agent.


Mel is a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.  He is a talented musician and dedicates his talents to his church.  He enjoys performing as the tenor of the men's quartet, "4 Heaven's Sake." He also performs weekly with the Contemporary Praise Band, singing and playing piano.

Mel and his wife, Kimberly, have been married for 20 plus years.  They have been blessed with four children, three of whom have been through the gift of adoption.  They also foster children and currently have two foster babies in their home that they love and care for as their own. Mel enjoys golf and spending time with his family.


Nick Morgan

Financial Planner

Nick earned his B.S. in Communications from the University of Georgia, and his Master of Arts and Master of Religious Education from Liberty Theological Seminary. His mission is to help others with financial clarity by serving them with integrity. He joined Christy Capital in 2016.

Nick and his wife, Amy, along with their three daughters, reside in the Atlanta area. In his free time he enjoys maximizing time with his family, travel, marathon training and serving his community and church. He also serves the Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry and works as an Associate Pastor at his church.


Julie Crumpler

New Business and Client Services Manager

Julie studied Elementary Education at Pensacola Christian College and began her career working in the underwriting department for a large national insurance company. Julie worked in the insurance field for several years and then took on the great job of homeschooling her children. Julie began her career at Christy Capital in 2006 as Brandon's Executive Assistant. After a brief family leave in 2012, she has returned as our New Business Manager.  Julie directs the application and transfer of funds process until each account is securely established. She also brings an array of knowledge to our business platform in Estate ­­­planning support, Roth conversions, 401(k) accounts, transfer of assets and distributions.

Julie is active in her church and enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her three children. 


Christy Houston

Assistant to Joe Matthews

Christy attended Gordon College and Macon State College where she studied Business Management/Administration.  She joined our team in 2012 and brings 20 years of business management and client services experience to Christy Capital Management. She is instrumental in coordinating and implementing Christy Capital's client service model, fulfilling her professional duties with a personal touch. Christy's extensive skills in administrative support make her highly effective at maintaining client relationships.

Christy and her husband have one son and are active members of their church. They enjoy spending time with their family and close friends. 



Mandy Kline

Assistant to Mark Wilson

Mandy holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice.  After working 19 years with a local law firm in a dual role as a paralegal and assistant financial officer, she joined Christy Capital Management in 2012.

Mandy enjoys spending time with family, and spending time outdoors bicycling, swimming and playing ball with her children.




Stephanie Elder


Assistant to Tommy NeeSmith


Stephanie studied at Middle Georgia College and Georgia Southwestern State University where she earned a Associates in Psychology. Prior to joining the Christy Capital Management team, Stephanie worked with the Department of Family and Children's Services for 5 years ensuring that customer service needs were being met.


Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children.



Rachel Epperson

Contracting and Licensing Support/Bookkeeping

Rachel holds an Associate's degree in Business Office Administration. Prior to joining our team in 2010, she worked in the financial field for 4 years and the office administration field for 8 years.

As a survivor of Aplastic Anemia and a bone marrow transplant, Rachel is very involved with the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation awareness campaigns.  Rachel and her husband have two children and are actively involved in ministry at their church.




Brittany Purvis


Executive Assistant to Brandon Christy, Events Coordinator


Brittany studied at Virginia College where she earned an Associate's degree in healthcare reimbursements. Prior to joining the Christy Capital team, Brittany worked at Snellgrove's Seafood for 10 years.


Brittany has one daughter. She loves spending time with her family and close friends.




Kimberly Stubbs


Assistant to Mel Stubbs


Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina.  Before children, she was the Chief Financial Officer of a non-profit organization. She stayed home for ten years to raise her children and has now entered the work force again, working with her husband. She feels that they make a great team and she loves being able to work closely with her husband.

Kimberly is a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.  She volunteers in the preschool and nursery areas and finds great joy in taking care of God’s little children. She also volunteers at a non-profit organization who provides support for foster families in the Columbia area.

Kimberly and her husband, Mel, have been married for 20 plus years.  They have been blessed with four children, three of whom have been through the gift of adoption.  They also foster children and currently have two foster babies in their home that they love and care for as their own. Kimberly loves spending time with her family and volunteering in her community.



Rebekah Bowker


First Impressions Associate


Rebekah earned a bachelor’s degree in Office Administration from Pensacola Christian College. She was an enrollment advisor for the college for a couple of years after graduation. Her love for service compliments our team very well.

Rebekah loves spending time with her husband fishing, playing tennis and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves teams. She also enjoys playing volleyball and basketball.
