Brandon Christy, CPA, PFS


Brandon Christy, President of Christy Capital Management, Inc., holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Macon State College, and has continued his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). This is a designation held only by CPAs who have completed additional financial planning benchmarks.

Brandon is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Brandon serves as a deacon and Sunday school teacher at his church. 

Brandon and his wife, Cara, have four children.


Tommy NeeSmith

Exec. VP of Operations, Financial Planner

Tommy NeeSmith holds a Bachelors of Science in Management and Information Technology from Macon State College.  Tommy successfully worked for ten plus years with a Fortune 500 company as a System Engineering and Information Assurance Manager working with the Federal Government at Robins Air Force Base, GA.

Tommy is actively involved in his local church serving as a Trustee and Sunday school teacher .

Tommy and his wife have two children. Tommy enjoys coaching, camping with his family and friends, fishing, golf, Auburn University athletics, Atlanta Braves baseball and Atlanta Falcons football.


Abby Puckett

Chief Operations Officer

Abby Puckett holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry.

She has spent the last three years as operational support to a growing company. Her leadership skills were key in facilitating growth within the company. From assisting individuals with professional development to day-to-day office operations, Abby has shown to be an effective leader, with an in-depth and working knowledge of all aspects of the company.

When asked what she thought made a good company great Abby stated:  “A positive work atmosphere where controlled growth is encouraged, clear communication, and having a dedicated team of individuals working toward a common goal.”

Abby has been married for 5 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, cooking, wakeboarding, and reading in her spare time.


Joe Mathews

Financial Planner

Joe Mathews started his career in the financial field in 2000 by joining forces with One America Financial Partners servicing local business owners with all of their financial needs.  He has assisted in providing solutions in the way of retirement planning and exit strategies of business owners using cross purchase planning. He has vast experience in working with individuals on income replacement, retirement planning, and estate planning.  He joined Christy Capital Management in 2011, bringing eleven years of experience in the financial planning field helping individuals  meet their financial goals and assisting them in problem solving strategies. His goal is to serve those who need our problem solving techniques while guiding them in a comfortable safe environment as they approach retirement. Joe also serves as the Chairman of the Deacons at his church and is very involved in outreach ministries.

Joe and his wife have two sons and four grandchildren. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.  


Glenn Ramey

Financial Planner

Glenn attended Macon State College where he studied Business Management.  Prior to joining Christy Capital Management, he had a successful 28 year career with a large Fortune 500 company.  He spent 25 years in various management positions, including Sales, Operations, Area Management, Financial, and Special Project Management.

Glenn is a longtime member of his church where he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Stewards and has previously served as Chairman of the Finance Committee.

Glenn and his wife, Kathy, have been married for 40 years and have two children and three grandchildren.  He enjoys golf, fishing, UGA football and spending time with family and friends.


Mel Stubbs

Financial Planner

Mel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina.  Before joining Christy Capital Management, he owned his own real estate investment business for ten years.  He has also enjoyed success as a licensed real estate agent.

Mel is a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.  He is a talented musician and dedicates his talents to his church.  He enjoys performing as the tenor of the men's quartet, "4 Heaven's Sake." He also performs weekly with the Contemporary Praise Band, singing and playing piano.

Mel and his wife, Kimberly, have been married for 20 plus years.  They have been blessed with four children, three of whom have been through the gift of adoption.  They also foster children and currently have two foster babies in their home that they love and care for as their own. Mel enjoys golf and spending time with his family.


Nick Morgan

Financial Planner

Nick joined Christy Capital Management as a Financial Planner in 2016.  Nick earned his A.B. in Communication Studies from the University of Georgia, and his Master of Arts in Religion-Christian Leadership and Master of Religious Education from Liberty School of Divinity. He is an Ordained Minister and enjoys serving according to Acts 1:8.  His mission is to help others with financial clarity by serving them with integrity.  Nick loves the personal approach that Christy Capital takes with each and every client they serve. Nick assists all age groups with their investments and retirement planning.

Nick is an avid outdoor enthusiast. If he has any free time aside from being with family, he enjoys exercising and finds himself fairly competitive running ultra-marathons, marathons, and various adventure races. Recently, he qualified for the Boston Marathon.

Nick and his wife, Amy, have been married for eleven years and have three daughters.  Nick recently was titled with the RICP- Retirement Income Certified Professional designation after completing extensive coursework.


Mandy Howell

 Financial Planner

Mandy holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice.  After working 19 years with a local law firm in a dual role as a paralegal and assistant financial officer, she joined Christy Capital Management in 2012.

Mandy enjoys spending time with family, and spending time outdoors bicycling, swimming and playing ball with her children.




Mathew Ramey

Insurance Agent/Client Services

Mathew attended Indiana Weseyan University where he studied Intercultural Studies. Prior to joining Christy Capital Management in 2018, he worked at the Medical Center Navicent Health. 


Mathew is a member of First Evangelical Church in Macon.


Mathew enjoys spending time with his family and also enjoys many outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and kayaking.


Julie Crumpler

New Business and Client Services Manager

Originally from Tampa, FL, Julie serves as the New Business Manager/Client Service Administrator for Christy Capital Management, Inc. In this capacity, she supervises the application process ensuring new business is processed in a timely fashion in accordance with carrier guidelines. Julie has a desire for quality client service which allows her to connect with advisors and manage expectations.

With an Associates of Arts in Education, Julie began her career with Christy Capital in 2006 as Brandon’s Executive Assistant. She enjoys working with a team to successfully and efficiently manage business and produce results.

Outside the office, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, serving in her church and community, reading, and going on long walks.


Christy Houston 


Assistant to Joe Matthews

Christy attended Gordon College and Macon State College where she studied Business Management/Administration.  She joined our team in 2012 and brings 20 years of business management and client services experience to Christy Capital Management. She is instrumental in coordinating and implementing Christy Capital's client service model, fulfilling her professional duties with a personal touch. Christy's extensive skills in administrative support make her highly effective at maintaining client relationships.

Christy and her husband have one son and are active members of their church. They enjoy spending time with their family and close friends. 



Stephanie Elder


Assistant to Tommy NeeSmith


Stephanie studied at Middle Georgia College and Georgia Southwestern State University where she earned a Associates in Psychology. Prior to joining the Christy Capital Management team, Stephanie worked with the Department of Family and Children's Services for 5 years ensuring that customer service needs were being met.


Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children.



Kathy Ramey


Assistant to Glenn Ramey


Kathy joined Christy Capital Management in 2016 as Planner Assistant to her husband, Glenn Ramey.  Prior to joining the Christy Capital Management team, she spent six years with a local accounting firm, seven years with the Bibb County Treasurer’s & Finance offices, and most recently 22 years as Treasurer/Financial Secretary at her church. She has been married to Glenn for 40 years; they have two children and three precious grandchildren.

She is an active member of her church and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.


Rachel Epperson

Contracting and Licensing Support/Bookkeeping

Rachel holds an Associate's degree in Business Office Administration. Prior to joining our team in 2010, she worked in the financial field for 4 years and the office administration field for 8 years.

Rachel and her husband have two children. They enjoy working in the yard, attending their childresn's sporting events, and are actively involved in ministry at their church.




Brittany Purvis


Executive Assistant to Brandon Christy, Events Coordinator


Brittany studied at Virginia College where she earned an Associate's degree in healthcare reimbursements. Prior to joining the Christy Capital team, Brittany worked at Snellgrove's Seafood for 10 years.


Brittany has one daughter. She loves spending time with her family and close friends.




Kimberly Stubbs


Assistant to Mel Stubbs


Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina.  Before children, she was the Chief Financial Officer of a non-profit organization. She stayed home for ten years to raise her children and has now entered the work force again, working with her husband. She feels that they make a great team and she loves being able to work closely with her husband.

Kimberly is a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.  She volunteers in the preschool and nursery areas and finds great joy in taking care of God’s little children. She also volunteers at a non-profit organization who provides support for foster families in the Columbia area.

Kimberly and her husband, Mel, have been married for 20 plus years.  They have been blessed with four children, three of whom have been through the gift of adoption.  They also foster children and currently have two foster babies in their home that they love and care for as their own. Kimberly loves spending time with her family and volunteering in her community.



Rebekah Bowker


Chief Compliance Officer/Office Manager


Rebekah earned a bachelor’s degree in Office Administration from Pensacola Christian College. She was an enrollment advisor for the college for a couple of years after graduation. Her love for service compliments our team very well.

Rebekah loves spending time with her husband fishing, playing tennis and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves teams. She also enjoys playing volleyball and basketball. 


Bobbie Lewis

First Impressions Associate

Bobbie joined Christy Capital Management in 2018. She is originally from Tucker, GA, and has lived in the middle GA area for 5 years. Prior to joining our team, Bobbie was employed with the Houston County School system. As the First Impressions Associate, Bobbie is looking forward to forming strong relationships with our clients and providing excellent customer service.

Bobbie has been married to her husband John for 12 years. Together, they love to travel and seek out exciting new adventures. Bobbie loves to spend her free time crafting or cooking, and is actively involved in her church.
